Development of PCOM 2.0 with new dynamical core and physical parameterization.

Pressure Coordinate Ocean Model (PCOM) is a oceanic general circulation numerical model in pressure coordinates. The vertical coordinate is actually a pressure-$\sigma$ coordinate since the bottom pressure changes with time. The numerical solution of the model is based on an energy-conservation scheme of finite difference. The most important feature of the model is that it is a truly compressible ocean model and free of the Boussinesq approximations.
